Today I got to meet with a client to see the progress she’s been making on several rooms in her house. She has made lots of great progress and I can’t wait to show you all the work she’s done, but for now a little peek to whet your appetites…
A beautiful farmhouse sink and countertops from Ikea, new cabinet doors, and bead board backsplash. It is all coming together so nicely and can’t wait to show you the finished product once everything is in place.
And check out the finish on those countertops. It is more gorgeous in person than the pic. It looks like they’ve been varnished, but she actually used a product called Waterlox. It is like tung oil’s bigger, badder brother. She used seven coats to get this look, and the great news (in addition to how fabulous it looks) is that she will not have to keep re-sealing it every six months like most butcher block conditioners/sealers. PS The people at Waterlox don’t have a clue who I am. Just dig their product.
Again, I’ll have more fabulousness for you later. I need to get Dr. Kyle and his photo skills over there to do all of this justice. Thanks for peeking in with me. I can’t wait to show you more!
